He is... STEVE GREEN!
In all the families a musical style predominates that although you do not want, you should listen to it the same. It is very typical that on Saturdays and Sundays the radio rings or in my case, they put a cassette of someone in particular.
When I was little, certain artists caught my attention, which I could recognize at an early age, but there was always one in particular: Steve Green.
This artist was playing since he had the use of reason (4 or 5 years old) until about 7 years, then disappeared for some reason that I do not know.
This artist reappeared in my life (tears falling in this instant ... hahah) until 3 years ago. It was really gratifying because he came to fill some musical voids he had, his music and voice often calmed some panic attacks.
There are two things that captivated me about him, and thanks to that (and one of the chapters of "Barney and his friends") something in my subconscious told me to study something related to orchestral life.
Well, one of them was the versatility of his voice (which is incredible) and the other is the quality of his orchestral arrangements. Without a doubt, his music is a work of art of harmony. In addition to this, Steve sings perfectly in English and Spanish.
One day I reopened Facebook to see what news people had. I entered the page of a gospel choir of Santiago and to my surprise there was an announcement: "STEVE GREEN IN CHILE". For a few seconds my eyes filled with tears and I did not hesitate to buy the ticket for his concert with the little money I had left.
In conclusion, I managed to meet this artist who is already 62 years old and continues to sing phenomenally. His concert was incredible and I sang his songs which had been recorded in my childhood.
Today, there is no day that does not go in the "micro" singing their songs.
Nice story!
ResponderEliminarThis make me remember a singer that I loved when I was a child: María Marta Serra Lima. That would have been a nice singer for my blog... well, i chose Tchaikovsky.
Comment on my blog!

Oh! María Marta Serra Lima is great too... Paquita is good too, but Mister Tchaikovsky is other thing haha.
